Message From Our President
Mathew 25: 35
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Jesus Said, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
For we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, let us use every opportunity do good to all people without any prejudice.
Despite our reputation as the “Blessed country”, the issue of hunger exists in Australia but is largely unnoticed.
Australia’s largest hunger relief organisation has revealed that 3.6 million Australians (15%) have experienced food insecurity at least once in the last 12 months.
Three in five of these individuals experience food insecurity at least once a month including one in five children.
We’re currently a bunch of volunteers trying to do our personal best to help the Australians to resolve their hunger due to food insufficiency during the time of uncertainty. We deliver free food boxes. While many reciprocate with immense gratitude it’s a painful acknowledgement that many are still left behind.
Our vision is to grow our network to be big enough and more resourceful to promise food to all hungry across Australia.
